Thought for the Day

Thought for the Day…
Whatever you’re thinking about is literally like planning a future event. When you’re worrying, you are planning. When you are appreciating, you are planning…What are you planning?

Basic Physics says-Form Follows Thought. Nikola Tesla spoke of all the Universe being frequency and vibration. Are your thoughts something that you want the Universe tuning into and manifesting in your world?  Are you planning a fiesta or a disaster?  It’s all up to you. Change your frequency, change your life

Spend this week staying positive…No matter what. If someone asks you how you are, focus on what’s working and ignore what’s not working. You’ll find that more and more in your the Universe is starting to work and support you.  What wish with the genie in the bottle grant you if you were only listening to your thoughts? Rock on…

Diva Musings-Happiness….

It is a beautiful, hot, summer day.  The possibilities are endless today.  It’s like being a kid in a candy store.  What happiness will I choose to ingest today?  This is a question we need to ask ourselves each day.  Sometimes when Divas feel a little “peeky” we have trouble getting our happy on.  Find a trigger that can get it started.  A thought that makes you smile and feel joy from your core.  One of my favorites is “Bailey on a Rope”. I use to have an adorable red Mini Doberman Pincer named Bailey.  One of Bailey’s best friends was a 120 pound Rottweiler named Shirley.  She loved to play with Shirley at the dog park in LA.  She would get one of the large knotted ropes dogs love and she and Shirley would begin tug of war…seriously!  Shirley would lift Bailey in the air, swing her about playfully and let go of the rope.  Bailey would land, collect herself and then stand in a firm bull like stance as if to say….”See, I kicked your ass again!!!”. It was hilarious.  This “trigger” never fails to get me back on track to some form or joy.

The Queen Cronista highly recommends you find your own personal “Trigger” and keep it in your tool kit for those days when your joy meter needs a good jump start.

Below are some quotes from the rich and famous that give pause for thought……

Diva Rambling-Types of Love

Different types of Love….Recent events in our world have left me pondering the age old question of love and what it means.  No where in these recent horrors can I see any cultures version of love.   When researching any topic I always look to history first.  For example….
The Christian Bible speaks of two types of love: phileo and agape. Both are Greek terms and appear at different points throughout Scripture. The Greek language also had terms for two other types of love, eros and storge, which do not expressly appear in the Bible.

To better understand phileo love, we need to take a brief look at the other types of love. Storge is an affectionate love, the type of love one might have for family or a spouse. It is a naturally occurring, unforced type of love. Some examples of storge love can be found in the stories of Noah, Jacob, and even myth and legend of all cultures.

As its name indicates, eros is passionate or sexual love (eros is the source of the English word erotic). While eros is important within a marriage relationship and is historically said to be created by God (see Song of Solomon), it can also be abused or mistaken for storge love. The historically it is clear that sexual passions (out-of-control eros) is often most harmful. i.e. Romeo and Juliet. Or crazy, creepy stalker obsession.

Agape speaks of the most powerful, noblest and hardest to achieve type of love: sacrificial love. Agape love is more than a feeling—it is an act of the will. For example, history tells us that this is the love that God has for His peoples and that prompted the sacrifice of His only Son, Jesus, for our sins. Jesus was agape love personified. Christians, Buddhists, Native Cultures and other cultures are  also to love one another with agape love.

Finally, we have phileo love. Philia refers to brotherly love and is most often exhibited in a close friendship. Best friends will display this generous and affectionate love for each other as each seeks to make the other happy. This love is historically, first described in scripture.  … As in …love thy neighbor as thy self.

Since phileo love involves a feelings of warmth and affection toward another person, we do not have phileo love toward our enemies. However, enlightened masters all commands us to have agape love toward everyone. This includes those whose personalities clash with ours, those who hurt us and treat us badly, and even those who are hostile toward our Beliefs.  This is a true stretch for me personally!

In time, as we follow the enlightened path of the example of agape love for our enemies, we may even begin to experience phileo love for some of them as we start to see them through the eyes of a true light-worker. I personally have miles to go before I sleep.

Many thanks to for some historical content.

Prepare pudding. Then pour cheesecake mix, yogurt, prepared pudding and cool whip into a large bowl. Fold together and then fold in marshmallows. Then gently stir in sliced strawberries and sliced bananas. Note: I make it the night before and keep in the refrigerator. I do not slice and add bananas until I am ready to put in trifle bowl.

About 1 hour before serving, remove from refrigerator, layer in a large Trifle Bowl or Serving Bowl. Layer several cups of mixture, smooth over bottom of bowl. Cover with a layer of graham cracker crumbs; another layer of cheesecake mixture and graham crackers until used up. Top with a final layer of graham cracker crumbs.

VARIATION: For variation add 1 cup of pineapple chunks (Drained)and 1 cup of finely chopped walnuts to the cheesecake mix when you add the other fruits.

Diva Musings- Collective Conscious

This morning I was blessed with another great diva for a breakfast guest at my morning watering hole.  We got on the subject of children and parental guidance.  I know two pre-teen angels who have so much potential but are totally lacking in parental guidance.  Where do they go from here?  We both agreed we’d love to take them under our wing and try to guide with love and appropriate social and civil behaviors.  However, at the end of the day, they go home to a place that does not reinforce it.  No one to discipline them… and it’s gone.

I pray every day that they fall into the path to which they were truly intended.  I wish them love and light and send good thoughts to the Universe to protect them.  Join me each day in sending love and good vibration to all of the at risk children of the world.  They truly are our future.  In a world filled with chaos, confusion and violence (thank you media rating whores for this) we can add to the uplifting of the collective conscious simply by directing appropriate uplifting thoughts to the Universe.  Know your efforts will have a resounding boomerang impact on our planet.  Know that you/we can make a difference by our thoughts.  You and your world become what you think about all day long.

(Rant for another day…focus on improving the consciences of the media, rating seeking, whores!!!!!!!!)
