“the poet’s muse”

I’ve recently noticed in the media the indisputable, irrefutable, annoying behavior of the “Fake Muse”. The person or persons who turn on a fake persona for cameras or any media outlet. They give us happy camper and perfectly made up image. When, in so most situations, they are over-entitled, snooty, don’t talk to me I’m important petulant butt wipes.

I am always amazed at the public buying into it. Especially the “Left Coast” Hollyweird versions of this behavior. Whatever happened to the publicly well behaved “Stars” of yesteryear? Sure they all had their problems and quirky behaviors. However, they did not make the trash public while pretending to be a “Fake Muse” for the cameras. Admittedly, the media has less access to them and that probably helped a lot.

I for one no longer believe anything I see on regularly television. It’s all fake as far as I’m concerned. Even the so called reality TV isn’t. It is all scripted. Give us once again a muse that can make a poet’s heart flutter, or a writers computer dance with joyful output. Give us a muse that brings to mind elegance and sincerity of the simple times of life. Give us a muse to inspire Norman Rockwell paintings and Da Vinci’s sculptures. I long with hopeful heart that our world will once again be filled with real muses and the artists who can capture them. I am in muse withdrawal. I miss that world. Namaste, The Queen Cronista
